Dustin and Sheri Crawford have been married 13 years and have three children, Kennedy, Ethan, and Graham. They love spending time as a family, spending time with others, and the enjoying the outdoors. Dustin is a graduate of Southern Seminary, the founding pastor of Refuge Community Church, a multi-ethnic, multi-generational, and multi-cultural church family located in the inner city of Atlanta, Georgia, and the network development manger for Luke 9:23 Ministries. Dustin and Sheri could not be more excited to be following God’s call to plant Cornerstone Community Church, a gospel formed and fueled church family that is all about Jesus in their home town of Leo, Indiana.
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Jeremy and Julianne have been married for 15 years and have five children. They were sent by the Summit Church nine years ago to plant Mercy Hill Church in Greensboro, North Carolina. There, Jeremy has served on-staff in a variety of capacities, most recently serving for the last four years as an executive pastor. Jeremy and Julianne will be planting a church in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is largest city in Atlantic, Canada. Their vision is to plant a gospel-centered multiplying church in one of the most strategic cities in eastern Canada.
Brian and Becca Davis have been married for 7 years and have two kids (Apollos and Gracie), with their third (Elliana) on the way. Brian served as a college pastor for 8 years at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. He is a graduate of Southern Seminary (MDiv) and Southeastern (ThM). Brian, Becca, and a small team from Hickory Grove are revita-planting Plaza Baptist Church, in the NoDa Arts district of Charlotte, NC, minutes from Uptown. Brian and Becca hope to establish a multi-ethnic and multi-generational church that shares and shows the love of God in Christ.
Jonathan met his wife April at the Summit Church in 2009 when they served with Summit Students. They now have 3 kids are in the process of adopting a son from Colombia! God is calling Jonathan to plant a church in Charleston, SC that will revitalize churches that in turn will revitalize the city with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jonathan loves C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, Marvel movies, Crossfit and basketball. On his happiest of days, Jonathan is eating an unhurried meal with friends or fishing with his family.
Parker and Leanne met at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where Parker was pursuing his M.A. in Biblical Languages while Leanne was getting her B.A. in Justice and Social Ethics. They were recently married in April 2021 and are currently living in Ankeny Iowa where they will be planting Ankeny Gospel Church. Having both grown up in ministry families, they have a passion for knowing God deeply and seeing His kingdom come here on earth through the power of the gospel.
Brody and Maddy Medford have been married eight years and have one daughter, Siena, and another child on the way. They spent three years in Europe working with and ministering to refugees from North Africa and the Middle East.
Brody received his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is one of the Church Planting Residents at Mercy Hill Church in Greensboro, NC. Brody and Maddy are moving back to Brody’s hometown, Waynesville, NC to plant Gateway Church in 2022. Their prayer is that the gateway to the Smokies (Waynesville) would become a gateway to the nations.
Joaquin was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. His parents were saved by the grace of God in the mid nineteen-eighties. Later, in October of 1991, he was saved, by God’s grace, at the age of eleven. The Lord called Joaquin to full time ministry by using the passage found in Romans 12:1-12. He graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, Wisconsin in 2006. In 2007, he married Megan Herron, the love of his life, and moved to Guam where they served at Harvest Ministries in various roles for almost six years. Joaquin also became a U.S. citizen, received his Master of Ministry degree, and was ordained to the Gospel ministry. They also have lived for two years in Santo Domingo, DR, working in Joaquin’s home church and school. In 2017, he became the Outreach Pastor at Brookside Baptist Church in Wisconsin, leading the Hispanic and Singles ministries. In May of 2021, he graduated with a Master of Biblical Ministry from The Master’s Seminary. Joaquin and Megan have five beautiful children: Brooka-Fe, Ahava-Hope, Jordan-Joaquin, Mason-Rafael, and Shyla-Kay. They enjoy outdoor activities, playing with their kids and spending time with family and friends.
Philip is originally from Atlanta, GA, and he met Becca in Memphis, TN in 2007 while traveling as a full-time musician. After they got married in 2009 they moved to Raleigh for Philip to pursue his Master of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and he is currently in the final stages of completing his Ph.D. in Theology. For the last 10 years Philip has served as one of the pastors at the Summit Church in RDU, and is currently the Discipleship Pastor at the Capital Hills Campus. Philip and Becca have three beautiful (and very energetic) children, Elliot, Asher, and Tessa. The Smith family is excited to launch a gospel-centered church in Greenville, SC that aims to glorify God by reaching the city, and growing as a family of disciple-making disciples. Allan and M’Lynn were married in 2013 in Kenya and have three kids, Anaiya, Zeek, and Ezra. They moved to Dallas, Texas in 2014 where Allan attended seminary at Criswell College. He graduated with a Masters in Christian Leadership in 2018 and is currently enrolled at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary working towards a Masters in Apologetics. Allan is currently serving at Mercy Church in Charlotte where he has served as the student director and most recently as a church planting resident. M’Lynn is a special education teacher and a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. They are following the Lord in a calling to go back to Kenya to plant a church in Nairobi where they desire to engage the culture with the gospel of Christ and works of compassion.
