WE HELP FUTURE LEADERS REFINE THEIR CALL

Each year we assess and identify future leaders in collaborative churches and provide intentional assessment and development.

The intention is to serve Collaborative churches by providing easy steps for assessing and developing the leaders God is bringing to our churches. We believe the future leaders of the churches we will plant will come from within our churches.

Who is included? 

Future Leaders must be connected to a Summit Collaborative Church and have the aspiration of being a high level ministry leader (over multiple ministries), executive, or future church planter. It will be best if they are 1 – 4 years out from possible church planting. 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Content: The program includes 8 zoom sessions led by Collaborative leaders and two on location trainings in Nashville and Orlando. Assignments and reading will be provided each month. *See specific content on page 3.
  • Coaching: Each participant will receive coaching and mentoring from a member of their local pastoral staff (one hour, once a month). Coaches will receive a monthly coaching guide to assist with aligning the mentorship with the program. 
  • Experiences: After assessment the assessing team will make recommendations for specific growth experiences to work through over the course of the program. 

What does it cost? 

There is no cost to participate in the program, but the participants are responsible for travel and lodging expenses for the two on location training weekends. 

What is the end goal? 

The program is meant to increase the leadership capacity of all involved to serve in their current context. The program will also create a pipeline in the church for higher level roles at their current church or in a future church plant. Inevitably this program will identify future church planters and potentially help with cross church team development.

HOW TO APPLY

The Future Leader Cohort begins in August and run through April. We begin considering candidates in January and make decisions in the early summer.
